UI students create three eco-friendly cars
Indonesianow.org, Indonesia Now Spot News about UI students create three eco-friendly cars. Tim Shell Eco-Marathon (SEM) Universitas Indonesia (UI) has launched three models of environmentally friendly vehicles that is named Arjuna, Nakoela and Sahadeva.
Three homemade vehicle models combined by UI engineering students that will be included in this year’s competition SEM Asia in Sepang, Malaysia.

Arjuna car prototype, the tricycle with the long dimension of 2.696 mm, width 940 mm and height 816 mm, using a lithium-based machine with a BMS that do not produce emissions. This model has a body made of fiber glass and the use of red monocoque chassis and braking system hydraulic disk brake.
Nakoela prototype, which has a length of 2690 mm, width 1940 mm and height is 815 mm, based petrol injection engines. Car model weighs 60 pounds which also uses a three-wheeled hydraulic braking system disk brake, and chassis monoque. Body made of fiber glass Nakoela but also orange.
Sadewa models, also called Kalabia Evo-2 as a result of modification of the model Kalabia, using injection engine and the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Four-wheel cars weighing 90 kilograms has a long dimension of 2,400 mm, width 1250 mm and 1100 mm height. The car body which has a hydraulic braking system disk brake and chassis are made of aluminum alloy white fiber glass.
